1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
1/2 cup shortening
1 (3 1/2 ounce) can flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tablespoon vanilla
In heavy saucepan, combined condensed milk, egg yolks and shortening over medium heat. Cook and stir until thickened, about 10 minutes. Stir in coconut, pecans and vanilla. Cool.
